In a dog move that saw Nine Inch Nails pull out reportedly mere hours before the first Soundwave Festival 2014 line-up, front-man Trent Reznor has taken to Twitter to reveal the band will be back downunder soon.
The tweet is no doubt in response to the usually outspoken Soundwave promoter AJ Maddah who took to Twitter to berate Reznor saying, “Sadly Trent wants to be mainstream now and reach Justin Timberlake’s audience” and the further added that he is, “no longer interested in working with them.”
Lets be honest here though. Trent Reznor is a hasbeen piece of shit who’s ego is larger than Antartica. While older NIN material is decent, their newer attempts of becoming Daft Punk and Radiohead seem like desperate attempts to stay relevant. Pulling out so close to a major festival line-up like Soundwave is unprofessional no matter what angle you look at it from.
Australia: we love you and we're coming. Didn't feel Soundwave was the right vibe for us or our fans – working on a better scenario.
